ADVANCED ACTOR TRAINING 19+ YEARS
This class operates on Sundays and is aimed at more than one type of actor:
1. Those actors wishing to develop a high standard of training in Film and Television. 2. Those completely new to Screen Acting. 3. Those struggling to make a breakthrough, into the industry. 4. Those wanting to refine their good technique further. 5. Those looking to get an agent.
Working weekly, we aim to get you organised, with useful self-analysis tools and good practical advice on how to improve your chances of securing the job. Each class usually involves working on camera. Occasionally there may be the odd visiting artist that will concentrate on other key skills, but all of our students improve their technique quickly, with useful exercises and self diagnosis tools.
Learning about what is expected of you at a casting is extremely important, but it doesn't stop there, as you will also learn how to translate a good performance in a casting, into a great performance on set, where the 'real' pressure is.
Those looking for an agent need to be aware that the industry is constantly changing and evolving, so an ability to clearly demonstrate that you are capable of dealing with quality self-tape requests and have a good level of understanding of 'where' it is that you 'fit' into this industry are vitally important.
Each week there will be an additional hour of Actors' Surgery, where students can book in, to work on auditions/self-tapes and accents.
Working with current artists and industry professionals, students are trained to the highest standard, in a professional and friendly environment. Our NEW class is for motivated and focused actors, aged 19+ years.
The course includes: •Advanced Practical Acting Techniques •Voice and Speech training •Working with Current Professional Film and TV Artists •Masterclasses with Theatre Directors and top Film and TV Casting directors Screen tests
Ethos The purpose of this group is to help actors really develop a good working process, which includes good script analysis and rehearsal technique, pushing them to create credible performances and giving them the confidence to take their acting career to the next level.
